{~ Passion yet again

Good evening my fellow reader,,

Have been a while ?! Haven't it?

Did i ever mention that i have a passion for photography ?! If not, then am mentioning it right now. I do not call myself a professional or anything but i do admire a few of my shots. It brings out or uncovers my emoti
ons. Each of my shots are unique in their atmosphere. I find that I mostly capture architecture; from castles, historical buildings and also I heart gardens, flowers, bushes, trees *blush*

Every summer, we travel to France, Paris and from their begins my passion for photography. I find Paris to be truly beautiful, from it's nature and architecture like no other country. I've been to other parts of Europe but it did not grasp my lens. But Paris moved me to capture the scene in it's all splendor. Maybe because we've spent our summers their the most. Some of the "must-visit" area's we've been to are: Enfluer, Deveille, Truville and others.

My family and i often stay in our country house during the weekend, it is about 45 min of Paris. I love the sound of the winds breeze, the birds singing. My mother and I go for long walks around our estate early in the morn. My sisters are always grumpy for being away from the city *giggles* their often bored.

I find myself missing Paris while am writing this post *sniff*
Lately, I see myself cursing through flickr and being dazzled by peoples shots. I find they capture a lovely, memorial moment in this one shot only ! How lovely is that. To capture something you strongly feel about in that shot. It left me doubting my own skills, but motivating myself to improve. Let me leave you with two shots: one of nature, archtitecture and a glimpse of our country estate. Let me know what you think.

Todle-lu for now.

{~ Have you ever wondered why the unsinkable Titanic sank.

The sinking of the Titanic on her maiden voyage was one of the worst maritime disasters during peacetime in sailing history. The Titanic was build by Harland and Wolff and belonged to the White Star line. The building started in March 1909 and was completed by March 1912 and the maiden voyage began on the 10th of April 1912. The ship was the first of its kind and because of the way it had been constructed, was considered to be flawless and hence unsinkable.
The Titanic was the most technologically up to date, luxurious and opulent ocean liner of her time.

Imagine yourselves on deck of the Titanic as she left the shores of Southampton, you are waving goodbye to your family and friends to depart for New York, on the voyage of a lifetime. You go to your cabin to rest before it’s time to get ready for dinner. The cabin is the classic example of indulgence and the equivalent extravagance of the Emirates Palace Hotel. When you descend the staircase to attend dinner the décor of the lower deck is breathtaking. The sheer splendor of the crystal chandeliers and the softness of the velvet furnishings easily make one feel like royalty. It is hard to imagine that you are sailing in the middle of the ocean. The whole atmosphere and ambiance of the ship give you a sensation of protection and security especially if you have been told that the Titanic is unsinkable. However, this is not so, as the Titanic was hit by an iceberg shortly before midnight on the 14th of April 1912(that is exactly ninety-seven years yesterday) and consequently sank. The ignorance of the majority of the population led people to believe that a ship could actually be constructed to be unsinkable.

The Titanic greatest problem was that she only carried enough lifeboats for about half of the 2,200 people on board. It took about two hours for the Titanic to sink. Nineteen of the lifeboats made it safely out, however the last remaining boat was tipped when people were crowding in to be evacuated. There were about 1500 people left on the ship. Nearby the area, the Carpathia, picked up passengers who managed to make it into the lifeboats. In total, only seven hundred five people survived the sinking of the Titanic.

Sources have claimed that the 'unsinkable' myth was the result of people's interpretations of articles in the Irish News and the Shipbuilder magazine.

- On June 1st 1911, the Irish News and Belfast Morning News contained a report on the launching of Titanic's hull. The article described the system of watertight compartments and electronic watertight doors and concluded that Titanic was practically unsinkable.
- In 1911, Shipbuilder magazine also published an article on the White Star Line's sister ships Titanic and Olympic. The article described the construction of the ships and concluded that Titanic was practically unsinkable. Also it was the beginning of the twentieth century and people had absolute faith in new science and technology. They believed that science in the twentieth century could and would provide answers to solve all problems even the problem of sinking ships.

- On 15th April 1912, the New York Times newsroom received information about the Titanic SOS via the Marconi wireless station in Newfoundland. Carr Van Anda contacted his correspondents in Halifax and Montreal who were able to find out that the ship's wireless had fallen silent 30 minutes after the first call for help. By consulting the New York Times detailed news library Van Anda discovered that other ships had recently reported icebergs in this area. The next morning the New York Times reported on its front page that the Titanic ship had sunk while other papers in America were handling the story in incomplete and inconclusive manner.

Ninety-seven years ago, on April 14th 1912, the supposedly unsinkable Titanic hit an iceberg in the Atlantic Ocean and went straight to the bottom of the sea. A study of the disaster, "What Really Sank the Titanic" by Jennifer Hooper McCarty and Timothy Foecke argues that substandard rivets used in the ship's construction was a main cause for its sinking. Whatever the origin of the belief, there is no doubt that people did believe Titanic to be unsinkable. How wrong could they be!

{~ Stressful Week

Good evening my dear readers,

I sincerely apologize in neglecting my blog and not posting frequently *sad smile*. After my blissful week, and endless relaxations I woke myself of an undeniable dream and my reality, which is my career endless life; university. *sigh* I am patiently counting the days when summer fall upon us. Endless summer days, filled with unlimited freedom, no workload and free time to do whatever my heart desires. A beautiful thought it is.

Enough about that. Let me get to the bottom of my excuse of not posting to you my dear reader. It is because tomorrow the day arrives whereby I present my "Informative Speech". How i detest it, how I abhor it. Firstly, i decided to speak about the music of languages, specifically the music of the Arabic language. How the have a special tune and a basic rule for each word, phrase and sentence in an Arabic poetry. However, after a depth of research and looking through reference's and Arabic poetry. I found that i would not be able to present it in the way it deserves. Also, the subject is so rich that it is justly unfair for me to shrink it into a one paper page only. Hence I settled for "Why the unsinkable Titanic Sank".

I came by it by accident, and then settled on it after doing some deep research. It was quiet interesting and i quiet enjoyed writing it. I will demonstrate a small part of my speech, and you could share your dear opinions with me if you kind readers will please.

"Imagine yourselves on deck of the Titanic as she left the shores of Southampton, you are waving goodbye to your family and friends to depart for New York, on the voyage of a lifetime. You go to your cabin to rest before it’s time to get ready for dinner. The cabin is the classic example of indulgence and the equivalent extravagance of the Emirates Palace Hotel. When you descend the staircase to attend dinner the décor of the lower deck is breathtaking. The sheer splendour of the crystal chandeliers and the softness of the velvet furnishings easily make one feel like royalty. It is hard to imagine that you are sailing in the middle of the ocean. The whole atmosphere and ambiance of the ship give you a sensation of protection and security especially if you have been told that the Titanic is unsinkable. "

If you it met your liking, I might post the whole thing.
Toodles for now ;*

{~ Endless Surprises

Good evening dear readers, or not,,
Good Morning my dears, since it is already past 12 am

I'm writing this post with a heart filled with endless joy and happiness!
To start of my day i was in a cheery mood but a bit disappointed since my 2 best friends in the word forgot to greet me. Can you imagine the disappointment i felt at that time?! But i quickly placed it aside since it was the beginning of the dayy.

In the beginning red roses were being delivered to my house and my room are filled with their strong sent. By the end of the afternoon i was depressed, seriously depressed, since my sister was bossing me around the house and i was the birthday gal. I kept quiet and told her enshallla dear sister i'll be ready at 5:30 sharp waiting for your friends to arrive. My youngest sister wanted me to help her do her make up and hair and i did it for her, then i started with my self and it was 5:00 i panicked and quickly pulledd of a messy ponytail and put on a audrey hepern eyeliner style placed my favourite RED classic chanel lipstic and dooned my roberto cavali dress. 5:30 and ready to go, pheww, i stepped out of my rooom to see to the visitors, when i see my nanny coming calling me to check the flowers in the dining room, i go there pissed of, because i am hungry i just had coffee and mad with my bf aka best friend for not greeting NOR answering my callls. I steeped on the staris leading to the dining at placed infront of me is a table filled with 19 cupcakes and filled with 19 candles, isnt thaaat sweeet. But out of noooowhere my bf and my heart * younger cousine* jumps out of the dinings bathroom and shouts out HAPPY BIRTHDAAAAY.

Here i broke doowwn, i was sooo filled with joy my heart was going to burst. i huggend them and kissed them and ofcourse gave a huge hug to both my sisters and dear nanny. We sat together and i commented on how good my bf and cousines hairstyle looked, since they cut thier fringe and straintend thier hair.

We sat for a while and my other bf came with her adorable sister, i was yet again surpirsed, and we sat all along and chitchated. My sisters friend came along as well, greeting me a happy birthday. I was soo happpy with this surpise it was the best birthday ever. I am soo loving my age right now. Ofcourse my other friends couldnt make it due to some conservative problems and others going off to their weekend destinations.

But i still appreatie thier effort to surpise me and guess what my mum was part of it. I loove her and my sisters and allll those who put an effort to surpise me on this day and making it the best day of my life. I also thaaank my friends who sent me text messages and BlackBerry IMS, i love every one of you and thaaank you for being part of my life.

{~Time is Ticking away

Good Evening reader,

I know, I know, do not scold me I've been neglectful. Well to tell you the truth I was busy with company, yes you *Anonymous Person* you know yourself *giggles*
I had a blast with her of course, with endless teasing during daylight & of course continuous super juicy gossip throughout the nightfall. Do you remember torturing me with the "Godfather" & your eternal love for Alpacino *giggles* but guess what I loved the Godfather & I continued to watch it without you, although i miss you =(
Anyways do not forget that your always welcome to another night full of craziness from both sides =P

So to start of with my post, is my quote of the day, of course it is about Love & Romance,, what to do I am a romantic at heart ^_^

{~For you see, each day I love you more. Today more than yesterday and less than tomorrow.~}
~Rosemonde Gerard

Today ends a chapter of every Aries born, specifically on the 9th ^_^
I look forward to start a new chapter of course, since I caused a drama in my previous post *giggles* I just received my 1st greeting from my best friend *H* told me that 19 is still a young age and she quotes "Ba3dich baby 3eshey 7ayaatic cuz its your final teenage year" *giggles* I teased her since she's older by one year and told her I look forward to greet her on her 30th birthday when her brood of 10 surrounds her *giggles* she replied me by shouting at me lol and she informed me that by that time she will have her 1st plastic surgery *she's joking here* she'll do a face lift and botox. I replied by telling her to reserve an appointment for me and her cousins my other best friend so we all can do our surgery's together *giggles* stupid right *giggles*
We often made fun of those YOUNG girls who mind you some are even younger had their nose, mouth, cheeks even jaw worked on. Shocking, I know, tell me about it. But what get's me mad that some girls are already lovely in naturally, by lovely I mean breathtaking, gorgeous. Don’t they look at their faces later on and feel disgusted with themselves?
I am not against plastic surgery if their is serious damage and is horrible to look upon, but for enhancing their beauty, and in truth it's the opposite and am sorry to say that. *sigh* how come my post ended up talking about plastic surgeis. As usual i got carried away.

So tell me dear reaader what do you have planned for the weekend anything new occurred in your lives that you wish to share ^^

Toddles xoxo
